Ellen Ward Scarborough Antiques

This is Ellen Ward Scarborough's home...if you consider
home to be a collection of 3 buildings around a courtyard...
Very green and beautiful. Ellen grew up with antiques
and both her and her sister are dealers. Her store can
be found in Stamford, Connecticut and is called after her

Ellen's home is absolutely beautiful.
Look at that Gorgeous tiled ceiling
in her kitchen.

Ellen spent time abroad in Europe and the
French influences definitely show. That's
a pretty neat paint job on the ceiling.

Black and white checkers I often see, but
not chocolote and white checkers. It's
pretty fun!

Who would have thought to pair a Tromp L'oeil
screen with a solid marble tub! Whimsical
yet classy at the same time.

Ellen's Antiques Store.

Ellen with her dog.

Just wanted to show some items from
her store at the moment I thought
were fun. I love the plaid fabric
on these chairs.

Now this, is pretty cool. It's a Venetian
Murano Glass Fontain. How many of
these have you seen lately?

Love theis black lacquered coffee
table with the "M" monograms on it.

Harlequin patterned James Mont lamps.

I don't know about you but I'm
pretty sold on Ellen's store and taste.

All photos from 1st Dibs and Ellen Ward
Scarborough Antiques sites.
