Happy Weekend

Does anyone else have a busy weekend coming up? My mind is still on vacation but I do have some things I need to get done. I'm still working on my dining room/office area as you can see from the picture above. I need to find a tablecloth for my Thanksgiving tablescape. There is a lot of cleaning to be done. Plus I still need to reupholster the rest of my dining chairs....and the list goes on. The weekend before Thanksgiving is always a bit busy, isn't it?...Happy Weekend Everyone!

Where To Shop- Fyndes

My new Twitter friend and new place to look for antiques is Fyndes. Not only do they carry a fine collection of antiques themselves but they also let you know where you can purchase other great items. Right now I'm crushing on this Gracie chair by Savvy Interiors. I think it caught my eye because it just screams Barbie. So, if you're looking for the best vintage shopping on the web and unique pieces then Fyndes is the place for you...Happy Shopping Everyone!

Artwork on a Budget

It's calendar season which means it's a great time to get new and interesting artwork. For example, I've been thinking about getting some of the Barbie artwork from Z Gallerie for about a year now But the price just hasn't been right. Thanks to Graphique de France I was finally able to achieve the look by using their Barbie calendar. If Barbie isn't your thing, they have some great Van Gogh, Monet and Renoir. Please send me pictures if you guys try this, I would love to post them on the blog.....Happy Decorating!

P.S. If you have a Sam's club card you can get these calendars for only $7.88

Posting Pink

I had this post planned as a farewell to my friend Kristen who moves to New York today. Then I saw this post on Cote De Texas asking everyone to post pink on October 1st to increase awareness about breast cancer and screening....It's not much pink but it's enough to make my hubby go ewwww. If I had a studio in New York this is what it would look like....Happy Decorating Everyone!
