Happy Weekend

Another long week has come to an end. I'm so excited to finally be able to catch up on some sleep. I'll be back on Monday well rested and ready to post...Happy Weekend Everyone!

Happy Weekend

I've had one crazy week but I'll be back next week with some great post and a pretty awesome giveaway. In the mean time, let us all wish that this were the view from our office...Happy Weekend Everyone!

Dwell on Design

This weekend I will be attending the Dwell on Design exhibition at the LA Convention Center. I'm sure I will see and learn tons. If you are going to be at the exhibition make sure to tweet me so we can purposely run into each other...Happy Weekend Everyone!

Happy Weekend

This has been a long week and I'm very much looking forward to the weekend. The circus is in town so I might check that out. If you have time this weekend, head on over to the A Home Blog and check out this wonderful zig zag accent wall. I've painted stripes before so I can just imagine the work that went into creating this beautiful design...Happy Weekend Everyone!

Happy Weekend

Now that the Royal Wedding is over we can get back to life as we know it. But for some strange reason I'm feeling the need to spend a week in a luxury hotel suite. Must be a side effect of royal wedding overload..Happy Weekend Everyone!

Happy Weekend

I will be drafting up a storm this weekend but I'm not complaining because like Mrs. Wearstler says "If you love it, It's worth it". So, what are your plans for this weekend?...Happy Weekend Everyone!

Happy Weekend

Sorry I've been so busy this week and haven't really posted much. I promise to be back next week with some wonderful small space post and a couple of things I've been crushing on lately...Happy Weekend Everyone!

Happy Weekend

So what’s the plan Stan? Do you guys have anything special happening this weekend or are you going to be home bodies like myself? I know the super bowl is this weekend but for the first time I’m just not that interested. I’ve decided to spend the weekend getting reorganized, making pillows and planning a romantic Valentine’s Day picnic for hubby. All work and no play on the weekend of the big game does sound a bit dull but I’m sure not complaining…Happy Weekend Everyone!

Happy Weekend

Doing my taxes this weekend.....enough said...Happy Weekend Everyone!

Happy Weekend

I have a busy weekend a head of me and I'm going to love every minute of it. I have a few projects that I'm working on and I can't wait to share them with you. Now lets hope I finish them since hubby left today on business for three and a half weeks so I have plenty of time to get in trouble by sitting by the pool (yup we have pool weather right now) and not reading, planning, and crafting like I'm suppose to. So what are your plans? Happy Weekend Everyone!

Happy Weekend

Don't have any plans but I'm sure it will still be a great weekend....Happy Weekend Everyone!

Happy Weekend

Does anyone else have a busy weekend coming up? My mind is still on vacation but I do have some things I need to get done. I'm still working on my dining room/office area as you can see from the picture above. I need to find a tablecloth for my Thanksgiving tablescape. There is a lot of cleaning to be done. Plus I still need to reupholster the rest of my dining chairs....and the list goes on. The weekend before Thanksgiving is always a bit busy, isn't it?...Happy Weekend Everyone!

Island Decor

I'm headed to the beautiful island of Honolulu Hawaii tomorrow. I will try my best to post while on this mini vacation but I can't make any promises. Any suggestions on where I should look for cool Hawaiian decor? Hope you all have a wonderful weekend...Happy Mini Vaca Everyone!

Happy Halloween Weekend

I have no plans for this weekend, so sad but true. I don't even have a custom. Hope you guys have better plans than I do and please feel free to share. Maybe I will get some idea of what to do...Happy Weekend Everyone!

Weekend Reading

I know there has been an abundance of shelter magazines popping up online but to tell you the truth I don’t mind one bit. If you are of the same opinion as me here is one more to add to your list.

Happy Reading and Weekend Everyone!

Happy Weekend

I hope everyone has some great plans for the weekend. I won't be doing much just a bit of fabric shopping. I finally found some inspiration for my two Louis arm chairs. The dinning room chairs above are so beautiful I had to find the same exact fabric. Which I did at Calico Corners. Hope they turn out as gorgeous as the ones above. The Mr. is out of town for a couple of weeks so I will be trying my best not to get in too much trouble (insert innocent smile here). Hey, a girl can't help it if she hears Wilma Flintstone in her head saying "Charge It" every time she's left to her own devices. Okay, I promise to be good...Happy Weekend Everyone!

Happy Weekend

Sorry I haven’t posted this week, it’s been very busy around here. I’m happy to say the master bedroom redo is coming along. The walls have been painted with the gray and white stripes. The Louis chairs got their final coat of black and will be reupholstered this weekend. Took awhile to get the fabric but it finally arrived and I can’t wait to get the chairs completed. All the art pieces have been framed and are just waiting to be hung. This weekend I’ll be working on the desk, mirror, and side table. The whole project is coming along nicely even with the unexpected extra work load. I promise to post more next week. Lots of updates on the redo including my adventures with dimmers and some cool new places to shop….Happy Weekend Everyone!

Happy Weekend

This weekend I have a laundry list of things to do for the Master bedroom redo. I’ll be taping and painting the stripes, putting the finishing coats on the Louis chairs, mirror shopping, sanding and priming the vanity, plus doing a million and one other little things. I also hope to get some quality time in with the Hubby before his short trip next week. Hope you guys have great weekend plans; feel free to share…Happy Weekend Everyone!

P.S. Follow me on twitter @shoeboxdecor to get live weekend updates of the redo.

Happy Weekend

So I've decided to take the purple plunge in my master bedroom. I'm not really sure when I'm really going to start the redo but I've already found some great pieces. I found a great purple silhouette fabric at Calico Corners. They have a good sale going on right now until August 14th. I plan on using it on the Louis chairs I found on craigslist. The small sewing table was a steal. All it needs is a bit of TLC and it will make an awesome desk. I plan on cleaning out my garage this weekend so I can get all these projects started. Not a fun way to spend the weekend but it will be well worth it...Happy Weekend Everyone!
