Stephen Shubel's Use of Color

In the past couple of posts of I've done on Stephen Shubel,
his color palettes have been more subtle and neutral on the
whole. This post really shows that Shubel also is no stranger
to using saturated colors. Shubel designed this Sausalito hills
home with traditional furnishings in bold colors for a modern
twist.

The dining room above is awash with a bright coral-red color.
It's very striking against all of the white accents.

Another great example of how
Shubel can really liven up a corner.

Looks like the breakfast
area in bright citrus colors.

Love the coziness of the living room.

Especially the pink and white upholstered chairs.

Peachy walls with gray and brown accents
make a surprisingly good combination.

The shell mirror is fantastic!

And a very soothing sea blue bedroom.

Stephen also helped reinvent an older
manor in the San Francisco Bay Area.
He again uses bold colors here.

His signature Oranges and Yellows.

A very warm bedroom.

And a very refreshing living room in greens and whites.
Mixing in slip covered white furniture really made the
room more comfortable and homey.

All photos from Shubel's site.
