The Modern Face of Faberge - Part II

So what happened to the original Faberge? After years of renowned fame and official goldsmith to the Russian court, Faberge was sold to its employees amidst the October revolution in 1917. Two of his sons started the successor Faberge Co. and it was sold to Unilever in 1989. Faberge is now owned by a russian diamond company as of 2007. How appropriate. The jewelry license was given to Victor Mayer who owns it to this day. Victor Mayer is a German jeweler.

makes all Faberge jewelry.

Colorful Faberge Crystal ware.
A fun Faberge egg shaped beer stein. Never thought I would see a beer stein
in the shape of an egg. Right: Fashionable Black crystal ware.

This dog is so cute and I have always loved the color
and rich hues of Malachite.
