A Jewel in North Beach San Francisco - Another Jay Jeffers Design

Since my latest Design Crush is Jay Jeffers, I'm bringing
more of his designs to share with you. I love how this flat
in San Francisco is colorful, well designed and relaxed at
the same time.

The candy striped pillows are a nice pop
of color to the chairs in the room.

I love how colorful the wall illustrations are.

The living room has really nice plants and
accent pillows against a neutral beige palette.

Love the lucite base to the coffee table. I adore
lucite and have a lucite coffee table myself.

Here's more lucite (the legs of the desk).

I love how relaxed this room is with the fluffy
white bedding and a hint of pink and brown.

This has got to be one of the best looking nurseries I've seen.
Jay Jeffers only wallpapered one wall so the pattern wouldn't
be overwhelming to the eyes. He used a soft brown to pair with
the baby pink. It's clever that he only painted the ceiling baby
pink with accents in the room to bring the palette together.
I'm really loving this nursery.

Jay Jeffers' Scrumptious San Francisco Pad

Okay now, Who wouldn't love this bedroom and combination?
It's a room wrapped up in chocolate and raspberry ribbons!
I love this master bedroom. It belongs to none other than my
latest design crush - Jay Jeffers. This is actually Jay Jeffers'
San Francisco home.

He simply plotted out the lines and thumb-tacked
the ribbons into place around the room.

And of course, he found the perfect
color fabric to go with his ribbons.

I love his choice of furniture and palette for this small
sitting area. I can never resist tufted furniture.

The eclectic room is tied together with neutral
colors with a pop of color on the wall.

Here's a look at his more expansive living area.

It seems so simple but Jeffers really
has a knack for blending colors together.

A look from the dining through to the sitting area.

It makes a dynamite space for dinner parties.

Hope you've enjoyed the tour of Jay Jeffers' San Francisco pad.

Jay Jeffer's Rendition of Old Hollywood Glamor in San Francisco

Photos by Cesar Rubio.

As I said, Jay Jeffer's is the latest designer that I'm enamored
with. He designed this fabulous house in San Francisco in old
Hollywood glam style. It's so luxurious and beautiful!

I love how he chose to use cream walls and accented
all of the paneling and window framework in blue.

Lucite, mercury silver and shiny surfaces and
mirrors really add to the glamour of the room.

The space feels very open and airy.

Jay Jeffers custom designed this headboard. It's
got a interesting shape to it. The shape has hints of
a lotus flower or Moroccan element.

I love the vintage glass teacups and saucers.

Jay Jeffers also designed the table. I love
his use of color. I don't know about you but
I think this is one gorgeous home.

A Rad Pad for a Professional Skater ~ Designed by Jay Jeffers

I've got another design fixation, this time on designer
Jay Jeffers of San Francisco. I'd seen this particular
home he designed in a past issue of Instyle Home
magazine.

Here's Jay Jeffers putting some
finishing touches on a console.
I just love red consoles.

Jay Jeffers designed this LA house for professional
skater Reese Forbes and his wife Shawn. Isn't that
interesting? You'd think that Reese was a woman's
name and that Shawn would be the guy's name.

They wanted an updated version of Palm
Beach style living and Palm Springs.

Isn't the wallpaper wacky?

I really like the upholstered curling bench.

Their living room is definitely a blend of that
Palm Beach era with a modernistic feel.

Lucite with natural wood, that's an interesting combination.

You can tell by the fireplace that the house is
definitely from the mid-century era of architecture.

What is a rad pad without a bar area?

You can definitely see Palm Beach living in these living
room chairs. The desk in the back reborn as a console
is quite traditional. The blue paint really transforms it
to fit in this living room.

The coat of arms is quite eclectic and very cool.

Here's the backyard pool. It's neat that part
of the house juts out. As with all of my design
fixations, more to come on Jay Jeffers later.
