Naked Decor ~ Supon's Wonderful Pop art Home

I'm sure you've seen his pillows before. I'm talking about

the pillows of the Union Jack and the Queen's silhouette

in the photo above. The designer behind the store and brand

Naked Decor is Thai born US based Supon Phornirunlit.

We'll just call him Supon to make things easier before I

completely slaughter his last name. His home really caught

my eye and so I thought to share a short tour of his home

with his cute dogs.

Isn't this bedroom just wonderfully colorful? The dark

walls tone it down a bit and give it just the right amount

of drama.

A closer look at his living room with the lovely

midcentury styled sofa and arm chairs.

I love the oval white lacquered table. It's an unusual

shape for a table but I quite like it.

I adore glass tile and he chose a really gorgeous

irridescent pearl color for the bathroom.

In true Thai style with a modern twist,

I must say that it's an absolutely brilliant design.

The Union Jack pillows come in different colors. He also

offers the Tower Bridge as a very classic design.

MetroSofa ~ Fun Modern Twist on Vintage Sofas & Chairs

Today we shall take a tour through Metro Sofa's fabulous
collection of vintage chairs and sofas that have been
reupholstered with bright and fun fabrics. A great way

to bring some colour into any space. MetroSofa is based

I really loved this brigh and fun rainbow fabric
used to cover this settee. All of these items

Here's a whole new look for this traditional
French sofa. Bet you never thought you'd see
a French sofa in a modern silver finish!

Not to worry for you modern lovers for they have
some very contemporary fabrics and designs as well.

This sofa has an interesting femininte twist to it.

Black and white seems to be all the rage now.
However, black and white is pretty classic so
it doesn't really go out of style easily.

And the back that's just as pretty.

Ultra modern and bright street signs

I am dedicating today's post to lighting from two fabulous

sources: Bond & Bowery and Swank Lighting. The quartz

lamps above mounted on a lucite base are gorgeous! Available

from Bond and Bowery.

The quartz above reminds me of a new line of lamps that

Swank Lighting is coming out with. The above lamps are

made of Tangerine Calcite paired with lucite. For all of you

lovers of stone and natural materials out there, this lamp

is a great lamp that incorporates color and natural materials.

I Really loved this pair of Japanese styled lamps from

Bond and Bowery. They are only $475 for the pair!

This Buddha lamp would really be a statement

on top of a console, entry way, or dresser!

This is a bit different than my other picks, but I've

always loved sillhouettes and I thought it was neat

that these sconces incorporated them.

Can you believe the light that shines through these lamps?

Swank Lighting specializes in Murano glass lamps. I must

say that I have an addiction to collecting photos of them

because I can't afford to collect them. Swank Lighting

just joined Bond and Bowery as a dealers so their lamps

are available there as well as their own site.

I liked the coloring of the slate blue Murano Lamp - sort of

reminds of me a beautiful storm. I thought the base of the

deep red lamps had a unique shape to them.

Swank Lighting is partnering up with a glass blowing artist

named Joe Cariati to produce a line of "modern" or "new"

murano styled glass lamps. They look stunning!

From Apple Reds above to Sky Blues and mauves.

Brilliant greens and energetic oranges, there's no

limit to the colours they can make or design.

The lamps are in a dress form shape - how fun

and chic!

For turquoise lovers, never fear for there are choices.

I couldn't resist these candy striped lamps. The colors and designs

are just amazing and I love that they were paired with chrome-like

bases for a modern style.

Murano loamps with a lucite base cut like a jewel... WOW.
