Tea Time - Tea Cups - Tea Pots - Table Spread

I'm not sure if many of you know that I am a
total Tea Addict. I love all sorts of tea not to
mention that I'm a tea ware/tea cup and tea
pot collector. I also keep a large collection of
tea at all times at home and at work.

Just wanted to share some tea time spreads
and photos with you all. I hope it will inspire
you to take some time out for a cup of tea. It
can indeed lift the spirit.

I love the colors of the magazine spread
above in Marie Claire Idee magazine.

The polk a dot teapot and beautiful cakes
make such a pretty and whimsical table scape.

Cute birds on this teacup and plate set.

I love collecting mismatched and different
teacup and saucer sets. They make for a
fun and eclectic table setting or tea party.

How about them cupcakes with your tea?

I do love my pink so I love this collection of pink houseware.

If you have a collection of teapots, the mantle over your
fireplace is as good as any place to display your collection.

Cupcakes and tea seem to be a popular match.

Perfect Tables by William Yeoward

Last but not least, when looking at all this
house ware, I think of William Yeoward's
book on Perfect Tables. It's a fantastic
book if you don't already have it.

Have a great weekend and have a cup of tea!
Cheers.

Amy Atlas ~ Stunning Desserts and Table Presentation

Did this photo catch your eye or what? If you
answered no, I don't believe you. About a month
ago, my fellow blogger Lynn from her lovely Paris
Boutique Hotel Journal posted some photos from
Amy Atlas who is a New York based Dessert planner.

I was totally drooling over the photos and upon further
investigation...was soon gawking over her creations.
Her creations are absolutely stunning and give some
great inspirations for simple ways to table scape.

Here is a table she designed for an event a candy store.
Amy Atlas creates and designs many of the desserts,
candy and overall presentation of the table.

Her modern take on a candy table
from the past is simply brilliant.

If you think about it, using candy jars is not difficult. It's
the carefully coordinated candy and labels that make the
end product so spectacular.

Hand made goodies.

A mod dessert table for a company party.
How cool is that? That's one company
party I'd love to attend!

The miniature cupcakes are so cute!

A totally monochromatic Mother's Day even table.

Macarons!! My favorite. The cake is great reference
to the garden green color as it looks like a trellis in a garden.

How about a Fuschia wedding dessert table?

The handmade desserts look so scrumptious.

The table cloths and paper are carefully
coordinated with the desserts.

This birthday spread is every little girl's dream.
The color scheme could make it also perfect
for Valentine's Day.

She doesn't use a lot of embellishments, but what she
does use such as her signs and letters are definitely
a statement.

Something as simple as color coordinating the packaging
against a patterned board can contribute greatly to the
overall look.

Custom made labels for White Chocolate to match.

Now Amy Atlas doesn't have a book out. If she
did, I would surely purchase it. But if you liked
her style, I highly recommend this book which has
a lot of fantastic ideas for desserts and table settings.
I own this book and it's one of my favorites for ideas
on desserts and table presentation.
