Beale Lana ~ A Tour through Palm Beach

Beale Lana designed two Palm Beach residences that
I think are definitely worth noting. I've been really
into green chairs lately and the above black lacquered
chairs in green are great!

Love the Greek chest of drawers.

Purple pillow Yay! And love the
turquoise Foo dog in the background.

A wonderful blend of furnishings in this bright room.

On to case study number 2. That is Some
shell decked console table!

Love the white and glamour of the living room.
My favourite single piece from this photo is
probably the chandelier. It almost looks like
shiny or mirrored mosaic tiles.

A cozy but fashionable
library with a zebra rug.

I really love how the headboard extends all the
way across the wall to really make a statement.

This looks to be an onyx countertop with ambient
lighting coming from underneath. Just gorgeous.

A very beautiful and comfortable room.

I imagine this to be some sort of closet
and dressing room. Very spacious indeed.

Look at that really fancy chair!

A table full of Blenko glass on display. The
collection of vintage glass - to die for! I
absolutely adore Vintage glass and Blenko
is definitely a top classic for me.

Beale Lana ~ A Park Avenue home and Manhattan Apartment

Well...Here are more of those gorgeous floors in this
Park Avenue home done by Beale Lana. It's great
to note that aside from their more wild showhouse,
they can definitely pull off very sophisticated styles
as you will see below.

I just love all of the different patterns
and colors used on the furniture here.

It's got a homey sort of feel to it.

A considerably more modern bedroom.

I'm not sure I would pick quite this pattern of
flowers for my flooring but I can see that this
little girl has a very decadent room !

This portion starts another apartment that Beale Lana
designed in Manhattan. I love the Louis chair done in
gold gilt and black leather. Just gorgeous.

A very sumptious sofa.

And a very old world library. I just love all
of the wood paneling and the striped sofa.
Look at that Cute little chair on the right
side for a child!

I especially love the bedspread they used
with the greens and peacock colored velvet.

Quite different from their Kips Bay 2007
showhouse wouldn't you say?

Beale Lana ~ Kips Bay 2007 Showhouse

Randall Beale and Carl Lana have been designing
together since 1992. They have diverse backgrounds
from fashion and theater. They've done a wide array
of projects from luxury residences to commercial and
retail spaces.

Per my trademark when posting about fabulous
designers, I am not devoting just one post to this
dynamite pair of designers. I am starting with
their 2007 Kips Bay Showhouse presentation.

The black lacquered railing, completely silver
wainscoting and black and white floors totally
had Me floored!

I totally loved the shiny vinyl or patent leather
material they used for the daybed and the
blurred black and white photograph paired with it
is just electric!

The red surfboard makes for great contrast.

Love the colorful fabric used for the pillows.

In love with those shiny floors!

Ok, this Egg chair is to die for in Silver!
Very edgy - glam rock sort of feel.

I certainly wouldn't mind having
a pair of these (in the right room
of course).

So what do you think of Beale Lana's
showhouse? Too much? Or Brilliant?
