Happy Labor Day!

I've been working hard all weekend just so I can have today off. I've finally finished my wallpaper sample boards for my materials class, which took a bit longer than I thought it would. I did find some great wallpaper while doing my research but my favorite one is Trash Day by Studio Printworks. Trash Day, is a homage to the day when suburbanites put the trash on the street for collection. Textile artist Jessica Smith has taken the toile de Jouy form and made it modern, witty and political. Her hand-printed toile wallpapers offer lighthearted social commentary. Studio Printworks wallpaper cost around $120 to $150 a roll.
