Hall Together Now

These fabulous hallways make me think that perhaps the hall here at Brabourne Farm is just a little dreary - maybe it should be the next project.

The First Glimpse

It's the first thing people see when they come into your house so it really should look good.

Walking the Halls

Is your hall beautiful and interesting like these or is it an area that could do with just a little bit of tlc?  Hallways often seem to be one of the least styled areas in a house - I wonder why?

Making an Entrance

.
What do you have near your front door? A coat rack or umbrella stand, a table for keys and mail, a bowl of flowers or a plant, a beautiful mat, fabulous art work or a mirror, a gorgeous chair, a place for muddy wellies .... I love seeing what people have as a welcome to friends and family.

Making an Entrance

Who wouldn't be happy opening their front door to these beautiful homes - they're all so warm and inviting. As they say, it's the first impression that lasts!

First Impressions

Our entry/hallway is still in its early stages so I'm always looking for ideas. We have most of the furniture but still need the finishing touches - paintings, umbrella and walking stick "holder", lamps, rug ... the list (and hunt) goes on. Love some of the ideas in these hallways - they give you a lovely idea of what the rest of the house would be like and make you want to see more!
